Hi Tim:

I always enjoy reading your DDQs (although I don't always understand everything when you get technical - my problem!) Anyway, this is the first time I have noticed your Blog so decided to check it out.

One thing that intrigued me was the number, 1004, of pictures you took in one day! We were in Paris and Provence for two weeks in 2007. I had not had my digital camera very long, and since it was so easy to take photos, I managed to take a little over 1,600 which I thought was really something. Some of those 1,600 were of my feet and it was easy to discard those. I still have not managed to work thru all of those pictures but I'm getting close and hope to have a few of those on my web site before long.

I am amazed by the way you have advanced in photography and computing! I didn't know anyone could take such giant steps in one's life. I want to thank you for all you have done in educating many of us in photography and computing. I realize you have made those two subjects your career and have spent many more hours and days learning all about them. Where would we all be without our DDQs to help us get thru our photography?
