		<description>Actually, my point wasn&#039;t so much to lament being stuck in the same place taking pictures, but rather facing a situation where no matter where I went the subject was pretty similar: a guy on a bike going by at about 30mph. For many photographers I think the temptation would be to get a few shots (trying to get as unique a perspective as possible) and then move on to something else (like some great tapas, considering I was in Spain!). Instead I saw it as an opportunity to practice getting really good shots, with the luxury of repetition to provide me with that practice.</description>

		<description>I don&#039;t exactly agree with this. Remaining static is OK if that is what you have to do. Years ago I read a quote by a famous Life photographer (I cannot remember his/her name) to this effect:

If you want better pictures, you have to get out of the car.

I have never forgotten that, and I hardly ever get great shots by staying in one place. On the other hand, I get what you are saying - if there is no choice then make the best of it.</description>
